this Sir William nor his son are shown by 'Lives of the Baillies' and
may therefore be pure invention. However, assuming that they died without
surviving legitimate male issue, it would be consistent with cross-references
from TSP that they had lived ! There is some inconsistency with the dates
and it is unclear why
'Lives of the Baillies' could miss out this information but it is noted
here as 'working data'. |
