Families covered: Campbell of Ardkinglas(s), Callander of Craigforth [This family is still being researched. It was very close to being held back from being released properly into the database and instead be made available only as draft. However, we succumbed to the temptation to release it into the database since we appear to have covered most of the generations. However, some of the connections between the generations have still to be confirmed.]

We have been advised that, according to Douglas, this was the Anne who married Sir Alexander MacNauchtan. However, the dates suggest that the Anne, daughter of Campbell of Ardkinglas, who is reported to have married Colin Campbell of Lochnell was (also) of this generation. It is possible that there were 2 sisters both called Anne, something that was not as rare as genealogists would wish. This is to be investigated further.
