Families covered: Crewe of Crewe Hall, Crewe (Crew) of Stene

We initially called this page ' CreweXX' as we hoped (as we still hope) in due course to find the earlier generations. We renamed the page Crewe01 on 27.09.08 when we revised the page, partly to facilitate a separation of the line of Crewe Hall (when we uploaded a page on the Offley family) and partly to introduce the first generation shown here which came from Commoners (vol III, Wright of Mottram St. Andrew).
