Families covered: More of Barnborough
| (10 Part of the following was originally uploaded within Temp07 on 31.03.05, based on information gathered from various other web sites. The following follows Commoners but, for the early generations, adds some dates from various web sites. (2) Visitation starts with the following Sir John, identifying him as "of More Place in Hertfordshyre". This raises the thought that he was connected to the family on Moore1. |

| Sir John More of More Place, Hertfordshire (b c1440, d 1530, judge) | |||||||||||||||
| Commoners reports that Sir John had 3 wives, the first being _ Handcombe (mother of Sir Thomas) and the last being known only as Alice. Various web sites show Sir Thomas's mother as Agnes Grainger and (through cross-reference) we have identified the 3rd wife, Alice. We are left uncertain on who was Sir Thomas's mother but provisionally follow Commoners, assuming that Agnes Grainger was the 2nd wife. | |||||||||||||||
