BLG1886 mentions the following Sir Bryon/Bryan, identifiying him as "9th in a direct line from the original Bryan of Ridley".
((1)) Sir Bryan or Bryon Ridley of Ridley (Lord Chief Justice of Ireland)
BLG1886 identifies the brother of Sir Bryan as ...

Sir Thomas Ridley - continued above
1. ?? Ridley
  A. ?? Ridley
BLG1886 identifies the Nicholas who settled at Willimoteswick as 6th in descent from Sir Thomas, brother of Sir Bryan of Ridley. However, it also identifies that Nicholas as son of Thomas of Ridley who married Audrey Musgrave whereas Visitation identifies him as brother of that Thomas (and also of John) with them being sons of Nicholas. We provisionally follow Visitation (in showing Nicholas as brother rather than son of Thomas) and so show him as 5th in descent from Sir Thomas with his father Nicholas as 4th in descent.
