This page is still being researched. It has NOT yet been launched formally into the Database but is shown here TEMPORARILY (albeit for an uncertain length of time pending further research), partly to record connections that we fear we might otherwise lose sight of and partly in the hope that one or more visitors to the site will contribute information that will enable us to develop our information on the families covered in this page to a standard that would support release of a dedicated page in the Database.

Apart from in the article's title, which was presumably added by the Harleian editor, Visitation spells the family name as "Bullok" throughout.

John Bullock of Derley (Darley) & Norton, Derbyshire (d 10.1628)
John is shown only "of Norton" but the article notes that a crest "was granted to John Bullok of Norton & Derley in ... 1609". Furthermore, references to this family from Fanshawe & Cavendish records identify the family as "of Darley".

Sir Francis Berkeley (of Askeyton or Askeaton?)
Sir Francis is shown by Visitation (Somersetshire, 1623, Berkley) without designation as to where he lived. However, he is identified there as 2nd son of Sir Maurice of Bruton and as father of Morice ("living in Ireland"). A site visitor (JS, 28.09.07) suggests that, although this requires proof, this was probably the Sir Francis of Askeaton who (according to Collins's 'Peerage of England') had the following family. It is noted that Askeaton is in co. Limerick.
