| It appears that the Carriers of Helpston (Northamptonshire) and those of Wirksworth (Derbyshire) were closely connected, the undermentioned Janet being found described in a web site as heiress of both places. |

Parker of Browsholme, was the Thomas who was older brother of George
Parker of Park Hall, grandfather of 1st Earl of Macclesfield, making her 2nd cousin of her husband. However, that appears to be wrong as the Parkers of Browsholme were of a different family. |
