BP1934 reports that, descended from Robert through a younger branch, was Francis shown below as the father of Sir Francis, the solicitor general. It is a presumption, albeit seemingly a reasonable one, that Robert was ancestor also of the Sir Richard Winington of Winington mentioned below, the first to be reported by the Visitation. The connections between the various branches shown on this page are not (yet) known.
