Simon de Steyngreve
m. Beatrice Foliot (dau of Jordan Foliot of Frisby)
www.geneajourney.com suggests that Beatrice's father was the same person as Sir Jordan Foliot, Lord of Gressenhall but we have not seen reason to agree with that. TCP describes Beatrice as heir of her father but Sir Jordan of Gressenhall had a successor son. Furthermore, Frisby is in Lincolnshire but TCP (Foliot), which mentions many manors and their counties, does not mention any in Lincolnshire.
