Vivian does not show this Thomas as having any sons, just 2 daughters (Jane & Mary) by Ann Povey. Some sources, such as BLG1952 (Blathwayt of Dyrham Park), identify their daughter Mary as his heir.

BP1934 (Vivian) & Vivian (in his work on the Visitation) disagree as to how this Thomas (or, rather, his father) fits into the Vivian family. We give precedence to what is shown by Vivian, who provides details on his siblings, even though BP1934 was published some 47 years after J.L. Vivian's work not least because that merely repeated what was shown in BLG1886 (Vivian), published just before J.L. Vivian's work (1887). Note that BP1934 identifies the husband of Lucy Glyn as 'of Comprigney' whilst that designation is given by J.L. Vivian to this Thomas's father and identifies this Thomas as 'of Kenwyn'.
