  Visitation (1612) is a little unclear at this stage, implying that this Thomas was either the same person as or the father of the Thomas who d 1522. The dates lead us to suspect the latter.

  Visitation (1612) suggests that this was the Thomas who m. Joane Canham and was father of several children, including the Tobye who m. Elizabeth Sicklemore. The Sicklemore source gives a date for that marriage which suggests that Visitation has missed out another generation of Thomases.
