George Duckworth of Musbury (Bury, Lancashire), later of Over Darwen in Blackburn (d 21.11.1815)
BLG1952 does not identify George's wife but shows him as father of the children below. Except for George, Esther & Sarah, who all died young, this is supported by Foster. We have seen (in various web sites) his wife identified as Mary. FMG (vol 4, p1225) shows that Mary Grundy (dau of Samuel Grundy of Baldingstone) married Samuel Duckworth of Manchester and had Samuel (MP), William of Hampshire then Orchardleigh (m1. dau of Robert Philips, m2. _ Benyon), Hannah (m. Sir _ Coltman), + daughter (d unm). We do not know whether FMG gave the wrong first name for Mary's husband or was mistaken in identifying her children.
