We have seen (in various web sites) his wife identified as Mary. FMG (vol 4, p1225) shows that Mary Grundy (dau of Samuel Grundy of Baldingstone) married Samuel Duckworth of Manchester and had Samuel (MP), William of Hampshire then Orchardleigh (m1. dau of Robert Philips, m2. _ Benyon), Hannah (m. Sir _ Coltman), + daughter (d unm). We do not know whether FMG gave the wrong first name for Mary's husband or was mistaken in identifying her children. | |||||||||||||||
