| Not sure which wife was the mother of whom although www.baronage.co.uk (which article is largely based on Sir William Fraser's work "Cheifes of Grant") suggests that (at least) Archibald was probably by the second marriage. However, BEB1844 reports that the above-mentioned daughter who married Alexander Gordon was youngest dau of John Grant of Grant (sic) by Elizabeth, daughter of John, 65th Lord Forbes. This suggests that at least 2 of the other daughters were by the first marriage. This is to be researched further in due course. | |||||||||||||||
