'HamiltonHistory' shows that John married Jean Coats as his third wife and does not say which wife was mother of his son John and does not name a wife for his son. ' The Balderston Database' (1832), which records the descendants of Patrick Graham (1st of Limekilns) and forms part of the BG family records, makes it clear that Jean Coats (granddau of that Patrick Graham) was not 3rd wife of this John but was wife of John, 4th. Noting that 'HamiltonHistory' suggests that John (3rd)'s marriage to Margaret Baird was in 1719, which we think is unlikely to be correct, we are not sure which wife of John, 3rd, was mother of ... | |||||||||||||||
