We presume that this was the same John Hamilton of Carnduff (or Carduff) who is identified on 'HamiltonHistory' (p247 & p558 & p182) as probably father (or grandfather) of Archibald of Letham and so also of Archibald's brother, Andrew of Cochnoch, and so also of Andrew's brother, Robert of Briggs. | |||||||||||||||
