Sir Robert Jenkinson of Walcot, Oxfordshire (d 1645)
Sir Robert was closely related to (possibly but, as far as we know, not certainly son of) Anthony Jenkinson who, according to BP1934 (Jenkinson), was "employed by Queen Elizabeth on many delicate missions" eg. as an ambassador. Lipscomb shows Sir Robert as son of another Robert. We have not yet inserted that Robert as an additional generation, largely because of sloth. Lipscomb, supported by TCB (vol 3, 'Jenkinson of Walcot', p197), identifies Sir Robert's wife (and mother of the 1st Bart) as ...
