(2) BEB1841 mentions the Topps of Stockton and then describes Sir Francis as "Deriving from the same source as the Topps of Stockton" but does not connect them.
(3) BLG1952 ('Combe formerly of Oaklands Park') identifies Rebecca as elder daughter of Francis of Combe Bissett and sister of Sir Francis.
