John de Trenowith in Probus, Cornwall
1. Stephen de Trenowith
  m. Johanna de Trenaco (dau of Richard de Trenaco)
  A. Michael de Trenowith of Trenowith (Trenoweth)
m. Margaret Butler
  i. Michael de Trenowith of Trenowith (dsp)
ii. Ralph de Trenowith of Trenowith
Commoners & Visitation show Ralph as married only to a daughter of Richard Bushell and reports on their issue. However, although the names/dates may be coincidental, this appears to be the Ralph Trenewith or Trenouth of Trenowth in St. Probus, Cornwall (d 1393, MP) who is shown by HoP ('Ralph Trenewith of Trenowth') as son of Walter by Elizabeth and m1. Elizabeth Rushell (dau of Richard Rushell), 3 sons (1 dvp?), m2. Joan Bodrugan. We speculate that, despite the discrepancy with the identification of his parents, these were the one and same Ralph.
m1. (Elizabeth?) (dau of Richard Bushell or Rushell)

  m. Honor Tregarthen (dau/heir of William Tregarthen)
Commoners reports that they had 4 daughters and then identifies 5 families they married into: Carminow, St. Aubyn, Raynward, Stradling & Godolphin. Visitation (J.L. Vivian (1887), Cornwall, 1530+1573+1620+additions, Godolphin of Godolphin) shows the daughters as follows.
  (a) Margaret Trenowth
  m. John Godolphin of Godolphin (a 1500)
(b) Philippa Trenowth
  m. John Carminow of Fentongollan
  (c) Matilda (Maud) Trenowth

  (ii) William Trenowth of Cornave
  (a) Stephen Trenowth
  m. _ Blomptin (dau/coheir of John Blomptin or Blompin)

m. _ Beile of Stoke
  ((A)) Elizabeth Trenowth
  m. Thomas Sprye of Tillond
  ((B)) Catharine Trenowth

The following connection comes from Visitation (Cornwall, 1620, Boscawen).
m2/1. Maud Tregarick (dau/heir of John Tregarick)
  (B) Joan Trenowth
m. Hugh Boscawen (son of John by Rose, dau of William Brett)
  (2) son
Commoners reports that this line "continued at Trenowith until the time of Henry VIII when it terminated in co-heiresses, who married Boscawen, Borlase, and Hearle."
  b. Margaret Trenowith probably of this generation
  m. John Petit of Ardevora
c.+ other issue - Thomas, Richard
As indicated above, the following is somewhat speculative. It comes from HoP ('Ralph Trenewith of Trenowth') and connected pages with input as reported above
m2. (by 1380) Joan Bodrugan (b c1359, d 1428, dau/heir of Otto Bodrugan of Bodrugan, widow of John Trevanion, m3. John Trevarthian, m4. ?? Hill (justice))
  e. Otto Trenewith or Trenouth, later Bodrugan probably the Otho (dsp) who married ...
  m. Johanna St. Aubyn (b c1410, dau/heir of John St. Aubyn, m2. William Dennys)
  f. William Trenewith or Trenough, later Bodrugan of Bodrugan (d before 08.07.1416, MP)
  m. (by 1398) Joan
  (1) Sir William Bodrugan of Newham by Truro, Sheriff of Cornwall (b c1398, d 24.12.1441)
  m. (by 1426) Philippa Arundel (dau of (Sir) John Arundell of Lanherne)
  (A) Sir Henry Bodrugan (b c1426)
HoP ends with this Henry, saying of him only that he was the elder son, and was aged 15 at the time of his father's death. It is our presumption that he was the Sir Henry who had the following relationships.
m1. Margaret Herbert (dau of William Herbert of Raglan, 1st Earl of Pembroke)
p/m2. Joan Courtenay (dau of Philip Courtenay of Powderham Castle, divorcee/relict of William Beaumont)
  (B) son
  (2)+ 2 sons
  g. son
iii.+ other issue - John, Thomas
