  'The Herald & Genealogist' (p359) does not give any family of Nicholas but does mention his niece Elizabeth. Various web sites, not least WikiTree, show him as husband rather than son of Elizabeth Hale, and show his family as follows.

2. Richard Bonfoy
  Richard is mentioned only by Le Neve who queries "if not the same with Samuell", showing his wife (possibly a later wife of Samuel?) to be a dau of Sir John Rea. The Herald & Genealogist' (p358) shows such a lady as wife of his nephew Samuel (see above).
