The following Sir Thomas is the first mentioned by Visitation, shown as father of Sheriff Sir Christopher. However, Commoners shows the father of Sheriff Sir Christopher as the above Gilbert. We provisionally assume that Commoners missed out Sir Thomas but there could be another reason for the discrepancy.
