The following shows (de-formatted) most of the data contained in the 'proper' version of this page at it was in early 2012. It is shown here so as to help search engines find our data as some search engines appear to have difficulty finding the data within our 'proper' database pages. 'Lancaster1' Families covered: Lancaster of Kendal, Lea of Lea font [This family is still being researched. 2 ] Eldred of Workington, lord of Kendalb td 16font 2 face=Various web sitefont 2 face=s suggest that Eldred was the same person as #aelfAelfred, son of Ivo de Tailboisa (below), others that he was Ivo's son-in-law having married his daughter ..xyzzzmisc03.php#ivo2Beatrixa. The more we investigate this matter the more we realise that we are going round in circles and that any decision we make on this would be based not on 'facts' but on how impressed we happened to be by the sources we happened to investigate. Accordingly, given that we do not have the resources ourselves to investigate this matter properly, we have decided not to make a decision (!) other than to separate Eldred & Aelfred and provide this note. 21.a name=linkhia td 15 2Ketel FitzEldred, lord of Kendal td 15 2m. Other sources report that she was a daughter of Fulk FitzReinfride and some of them show Gilbert & Godith as parents of Roger FitzReinfride (and others) who took their mother's family name.
