Families covered: Pretyman of Bacton, Pretyman of Driffield, Pretyman of Greensfarm, Pretyman (Prettyman) of Lodington

The connection between the Pretymans of Driffield & Lodington and the later Pretymans of Bacton is given in a note within TCB to explain the claim for the baronetcy made by the Bishop of Winchester after the death of the 4th Baronet. The note implied some scepticism of the connection.
