This would imply that Robert was probably son of one of these younger sons. However, TCB reports that, although there was such a Robert (Pinsent) who claimed the title as heir male, the claim was spurious. Robert, vicar of Kilmurry & Dunmoylin, was in fact son of Robert of Athy, son of William of Athy, son of William (rector of Athy) whose connection with the above is not known. | |||||||||||||||
