| Not named by BE1883, this was probably the 'Robert Rolle of Heanton Satchville' identified as father of Margaret. Whilst (looking at the marriages of 2 children of Theophilus Clinton, Earl of Lincoln) the generations might suggest that he might have been a brother of the following Samuel & Henry, BE1883 identifies the above Henry was "grandfather of two brothers, Sir Samuel ... and Henry" which, whilst not saying that there was not another brother of that generation, is suggestive of that fact whilst his daughter Margaret's dates also support the view that he was of this generation. | |||||||||||||||
