BIFR1976 reports that the following Henry, whose name "was not spelt uniformly in the earlier periods, Sadler, Sadleys, Sadleir, Sadlier and other variations being used", was "of a family in Hackney, Middlx, heir according to Fuller of a fair inheritance".

BLG1886 reports that Margaret was "a near relative of the Earl of Essex". Commoners & BEB841 report that she was a laundress in the Earl's family and that Ralph & Margaret married whilst her husband, Matthew Barre, was presumed dead but was in fact still alive. An Act of Parliament was procured to legitimise the children. BIFR1976 names her Ellen.

BLG1886 suggests that he had another 2 daughters, both unnamed: one married to Henry Foxwell Aliter Fox of Foxglade & Graigue, the other to _ Ormsby of Co. Tipperary. Another difference between them is that BLG1886 identifies Thomas's wife as "Miss Honywood" whilst BIFR1976 names the mother of his children as ...
