We presume that the Thomas was the same person as the Thomas of Stanley Hall (sometime 'of Thornton' and 'of Netherton'), identified as the 3rd son of Thomas of Lupset, who heads the pedigree in Visitation (Foster, Yorskshire, 1584/5, Savile of Stanley Hall).
