Griffith indicates that there was an earlier wife, not named, who was mother of Einion, & Cadwallon, leaving Angharad as mother of Meredydd & Llewelyn (Griffith does not mention the other children). BLG1952 (Philipps of Cilyblaidd) shows two wives with Gwladys as his first wife (by whom he had issue, not named) with Gwenllian as his second wife and mother of King Grufydd. Wikipedia suggests that he had, by Gwladys, 4 sons (Gruffydd, Hywel, Goronwy & Cadwgan) and 1 daughter (Nest). | |||||||||||||||
