  BLG1879 starts with the undermentioned William, having reported that "This very ancient family claims descent from Hamon de Beler Lord of Eye Kettleby, 1160". We assume that further research was made on this family between 1862 and 1879 that disproved the ancestry shown by BLG1862 of the John who m. Esther Greene. We speculate that William was of the next-but-one generation but, of course, the connection to the earlier generations given by BLG1862 could well have come differently.
