  BLG1952 starts with the following Ralph. Information on his father & siblings was kindly provided by a contributor (CV, 15.08.14) who was investigating this family.

  a. Ralph Bell of Sowerby (d 03.11.1735 (sb 1733?), MP)
  m. (03.03.1697) Rachel Windlow (dau of Richard Windlow of Yarm)
  BLG1952 reports that Ralph dsp. However, HoP ('Ralph Bell') reports that he had 2 sons (dvp) + 2 daughters. HoP confirms that "his principal heir was his nephew Ralph Consett" so it is not unlikely that all of his children dsps before or shortly after he died.
