However, Visitation (Gloucestershire, 1623, 'Fowler') identifies the mother of Judith as Margaret (dau/heir of _ Apsley of Thakum) and Visitation (Sussex, 1633-4, 'Apsley') shows Margaret (dau/heir of Thomas Apsley) as mother (by Thomas Bulman) of Judith. Consequently, given that Elizabeth appears to have outlived Thomas, we presume that Margaret Apsley was his 1st wife and the mother of at least the first 3 of his daughters. | |||||||||||||||
