Vivian does not show him in as such on p362 but shows him separately (on p363) with a note that he "is generally supposed to have been a son of John Fortescue and Joan Parsons, vide page 362, but there is no proof".

  On p363, Vivian has a note that reports that "The pedigree of Fortescue of St. Budeaux and Plymouth has been omitted at the request of that branch of the family." On p850 (in the Addenda), Vivian shows Robert and his family, reporting that Robert "left Shebbear about 1700", and noting that he "is generally understood to have been a son of John Fortescue and Ellen Badcock ... but there is no proof, the leaves of the parish Registers between 1660 and 1669 have been evidently wilfully cut out".
