Our first attempt on this family was uploaded to a Temporary page on 17.06.08, being based wholly on information found in various web sites (which followed the ancestry of George Washington, the first President of the USofA). Various of those sites show this Andrew as son of Thomas (by Mary, dau of John Stonehouse) son of Thomas (by Ann, dau of Thomas Hoo), indicating a connection to the family which is shown on Reade1 but with that Thomas (m. Ann Hoo) shown as son of Thomas (by Mildred Cecil) son of William (by Gertrude Paston) son of William (by Anne Farley). We do not know where those sites obtained their information from. | |||||||||||||||
