  A. Andrew Kinninmonth 'of that ilk' of Craighall (b c1452, d c1514)
MacFarlane shows this Andrew as having died in May 1538 with the Andrew whom we show as having died in that month as son rather than brother of the William below who died at Flodden. We follow ER. The marriage to Agnes Wemyss is not mentioned by either MacFarlane or ER but is suggested by a cross-reference from the Wemyss records.

  a. Patrick Kinninmonth of Craighall (b 04.1520, d 1580)
ER shows his marriages in the order Elizabeth Abercrombie (mother of the first Andrew), Christian Beaton (mother of the other children), then Elizabeth Wemyss. We follow MacFarlane in showing Christian Beaton as Patrick's 3rd wife because her first husband did not die until 1577. MacFarlane stops with this Patrick (along with the Effie or Eupham who married Sir William Duddingston whom we show above). However, 'East Neuk of Fife' (Walter Wood, 1887, p253) suggests that Patrick married Elizabeth Abercrombie in 1552.
  m1. Elizabeth Abercrombie
  (1) Andrew Kinninmonth (b c1546, d young?)
  (2) Andrew Kinninmonth of that ilk of Craighall (b c1551, d 1590)
ER shows only Andrew's marriage to Cecilia Wemyss but cross-references from elsewhere in the database suggest that he may have already been married twice before that marriage.
