Fredach 'the Just', King of Ireland (a c75AD) = Fioraidhach Fionfachtnach (Feredach Fionn-Feachtnach)
The continuation comes wholly from 'Royal Genealogies'. An earlier version of the following section of this page was based on what was found in 'Royal Genealogies' and was previously shown within the continuation page.
1. Fiacha Finnola, King of Ireland (a c95AD) (Fiacha Fionn Ola)
This appears to be the same person as Fiachadh Fionohudh (d 54) reported by 'Royal Genealogies'.
  m. Eithne (dau of King of Scotland) mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies'
  A. Tuathal Techmar ('the Acceptable'), King of Ireland (a c130AD) (Tuathal Teachtmar)
This appears to be the same person as Tuathal Teachtmar (d 109) reported by 'Royal Genealogies'.
  m. Baine (dau of King of England) mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies' (Baine, dau of Sgaile Balbh, King of England)
  i. Felim ('the Lawgiver"), King of Ireland (a c164AD) (Fedhlimidh (Felin) Rachtmar)
This appears to be the same person as Feidhlimdidh Reachtnar (d 122) reported by 'Royal Genealogies'.
  m. Aghna (dau of King of Denmark) mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies' (Ughna, dau of the King of Denmark)
  a. Eochoidh Finam Fuothwafrt mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies' (Eochaidh Fionn-Fohsrt)
b. Fiachadh Guidhe mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies' (Fiacha Suidhe)
O'Hart (p359, in note) supports the following.
  (1) Fiacha Riadhe
  (A) Fothadh
  (i) Duibhne --
The continuation page shows a different ancestry of Duibhne, going back to Roman times via King Arthur of the Round Table. The above is arguably a more impressive pedigree but, for the moment at least, we leave the continuation unchanged. Just for interest, we show below the next few generations given by O'Hart.
  (a) Donn
  m. Corcraine (dau of Slectaire son of Curigh son of Monarch Cathair Mor)
((1)) Diarmuid ("Ua Duibhne", grandson of Duibhne)
  m. Grainné (dau of Monarch Cormac MacArt (or Cormac Ulfhada))
O'Hart reports that Diarmuid & Grainné had 4 sons: Donchadh, Eochaidh, Ollan & Connla and was "the founder of the Clan Campbell, known in the Highlands of Scotland as Slioch na Diarmiuid Ua Duibhne (or "descendants of the Diarmis O'Duibhne')". O'Hart does not continue the descent to Clan Campbell but it is noted that neither Arthur Armderg nor Malcolm/Gillocallum (father of Gillespic (Gillocallum) / Archibald Campbell (who d 1091 and does seem to have been accepted as a genuine ancestor of Clan Campbell), who are shown on the continuation page as descendants of Duibhne, are mentioned by O'Hart.
  c. Conn Caed Catha ('Conn of the Hundred Battles'), King of Ireland (a c177AD) (Conn Ceadcathach)
This appears to be the same person as Conn Ceadchadheah (d 145) reported by 'Royal Genealogies'.
  m. Eithne (dau of Lughaidh son of Daire) mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies'
  (1) Art ('the Solitary'), King of Ireland (a c195AD) (Art Eanfhear)
This appears to be the same person as Art Aonthir, monarch of Ireland, reported by 'Royal Genealogies'. Art Eanfhear is the first person mentioned by O'Hart on p664.
  m. Meidydh (dau of Cannon Cualamn) mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies' (Maidhbh, Leathdearg, dau of Conann Cualann)
p. Eachtach (dau of Alchataigh, a blacksmith) mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies' (Eachtach, dau of Ulcheatagh)
  (A) Cormac, King of Ireland (a c227AD) (Cormac Ulfhada, 4th son)
This appears to be the same person as Cormac Ulfhada (a 213) reported by 'Royal Genealogies'. O'Hart reports that he had 6 sons: Cairbre Lifeachar, Muireadach, Moghruith, Ceallach (dsp), Daire (dsp) & Aongus Fionn and 8 daughters, including Grace/Grania & Ailbh.
m. Eithne Dlianhdys (dau of Duining son of Cana Badh) mentioned by 'Royal Genealogies' (Eithne Ollamhdha, dau of Dunlang, son of Eana Niadh)
  (i) Daire
(ii) Cairbrelifefeachaire (a 254) = Cairbre Kuffechair, King of Ireland (r 268-284) (Cairbre Lifeachar)
  (iii) Cealloch
  (iv) Gratne (Grace or Grania)
  m. Fionn (General, m2. Ailbhe below)
  p. Diarmid O'Dairbahn
(v) Ailbhe
  m. Fionn (General, m1. Gratne above)
  (a) Oifin
  (b) Samuir HJRY
  m. Cormac Case HJRY
(B)+ other issue - Artghen, Boinida, Bonnrigh mentioned by O'Hart
O'Hart (p664+) mentions that Art had 3 sisters:
  (2) Sarad
  m. Conaire Mac Magha Laine ("the 111th Monarch")
  (3) daughter
  m. MacNiash(na), "half King of Munster")
  m2. Olioll Olum ## see here ##
  (4) daughter

Main source(s): 'The O'Conors of Connaught' (compiled from a manuscript of John O'Donovan, with additions, by Charles Owen O'Conor Don, 1891) with some support/contradiction for the upper section from 'Royal Genealogies' (though its information was taken from notes in the book which, given that the font used in the book was often difficult to read, probably contained spelling mistakes and other transcription errors)
[Note added 09.05.25. As indicated at the top of the page, the upper section was originally prepared (within the continuation, Irish02) using 'Royal Genealogies' and was moved here (on 22.03.13) when this page was prepared using the O'Conor book mentioned above. We have NOT yet reviewed the above using 'Royal Genealogies' with the copy we have just managed to download. {We hope to do so in due course.} However, we have reviewed the names using 'Irish Pedigrees' (John O'Hart, 1892 (5th edition), vol 1, 'The Line of Heremon' (p356+) & 'O'Hart (No. 1)', p664+)). Spellings suggested by O'Hara are shown in brackets & italics. Note that O'Hara, who provides more narrative than 'Royal Genealogies', suggests dates that are very different from what was shown by 'Royal Genealogies' (eg. Enna Aigneachd 292BC not 193BC).]
