| We assume that this was the same John of Darcy Lever as the one who leads the section in Visitation (Dugdale, Lancashire, 1664-5, 'Bradshaw of Darcy Lever') , which provides the following. However, in that section, Dugdale identifies the arms of this family as "Argent, two bendlets, three escallops, sable" and identifies John as "a younger son of the house of Bradshaw, co. Lancaster".
