BLG1886 reports that this family "is a branch of an ancient family settled in the co. of Essex" and that the following George "settled in the co. Cork prior to the year 1642, during which year he returned to England".

  BLG1886 & BLG1952 ('Chinnery-Haldane') both report that John d unm. However, BLG1952 ('Chinnery of Fringford'), which suggests that Castle Corr was in Scotland whereas those other sources suggest that it was in Co. Cork (which appears to be the case), suggests that he married and had family as follows.
