Families covered: Porter of Launcells (Lancells), Porter of St. Stephens, Porter of Saltash, Porter of Timerton

Although the two families shown on this page were both in Cornwall, the arms reported by Vivian are very different. However, whilst Vivian indicates that the first family moved into Cornwall from Norfolk, the arms of the second family ("Sa., three church bells, a canton Arg.") are very similar to those of the Porters of Halesworth reported in Visitation (Suffolk, 1664-8) and also the Porters shown on Porter04.
