Sir Patric FitzDolfin of Offerton
1. William de Hertburn or de Wessington or Washington (b c1180)
The parentage of this William is subject to some dispute. Various sources identify his father as Patric FitzDolfin but others suggest that he was probably a son of Geoffrey Bayand (or Baiart or Baird). We may support that view in due course but provisionally maintain the connection to Dolfin of Raby.
