This page is still being researched. It has NOT yet been launched formally into the Database but is shown here TEMPORARILY (albeit for an uncertain length of time pending further research), partly to record connections that we fear we might otherwise lose sight of and partly in the hope that one or more visitors to the site will contribute information that will enable us to develop our information on the families covered in this page to a standard that would support release of a dedicated page in the Database.

1. Isabel Worseley (dsp 1524)
  m. Sir John Leigh (d 1523)
2. Ann Worseley

'The History of the Parish ...' shows Ann & Sir John as parents of Margaret who married Adrian Whethill. However, Visitation (Surrey, 1530+1572+1623, Gainsford & Gaynsford) show that Margaret as married to Richard Wethell of Essex. We follow various web sites in showing Margaret as sister rather than daughter of Ann.

Visitation ends with this generation. Some sources suggest that the Anthony who was 'of Helmingham' (and was father of Dorothy) was a younger brother of Sir Henry of Thornham (i.e. father of this Anthony) but, having regard to the dates, we suspect that he (the father of Bridget) was this Anthony.
