Hunter provides one line of this family, Le Neve the other. Hunter starts with John (m. Agnes, dau of John Atkinson) whilst Le Neve starts with Christopher (m. Agnes, dau of _ Atkinson). Hunter includes a note that Le Neve does call 'John' Christopher thereby providing comfort that they are both covering the same family. Hunter mentions that John "came from London to Great Salkeld, co. Cumb.".
