Families covered: Langord of Antigua, Coplen-Langford of Kilcosgriff
[Both the sections below were first uploaded to LZmisc07. They were moved here following a review of various Langford families which led to the decision that it was better to group the Langford families together than have some placed into a miscellaneous page.]

BIFR1976 shows John as father of Jonas of Antigua (had issue) with it being a bit unclear whether it was John or Jonas who was father of Elizabeth (m. Peter Brooke). BLG1886 (Brooke of Mere) shows Elizabeth as dau/heir of Jonas of Antigua. Thanks to a contributor (CV, 15.06.13) for drawing our attention to 'The History of the Island of Antigua' (see below) where Elizabeth is shown as dau/coheir of Jonas of Antigua son of Jonas son of John son of Jonas. The dates make it seem unlikely that that last Jonas was the son of this John. Accordingly, we now show the Antiguan line separately below.
