Foster ends showing that Thomas & Elizabeth had a son, Ferdinando, and an unnamed daughter. We have seen Elizabeth Stanley identified in a web site as a daughter of the 3rd Earl of Derby but that looks very likely, not least because BHO (Cecil Papers, May 1605) reports that Elizabeth m2. (by 1605) Richard Houghton without making any reference to such a connection, though it is quite possible that she was a relative of that Earl.
