Visitation (Yorkshire, 1563-4, Aslakeby) shows Margaret as m. James Aislaby, thereby supporting BP1934, but the Harleian editor suggests that this Margaret m. William Hungate of Saxton ("though Glover calls her Alice") with the wife of James Aislaby being Jane, dau of Sir John Gower. We will investigate this further in due course. | |||||||||||||||
