  A. Sir Richard Lee, Mayor of London (d 04.03.1472) the first mentioned by Ord & Visitation
  m. Letitia Ciarbin of London
Visitation & Berry show 2 successive Richard Lees between the Mayor & Geoffrey (Galfridus) and shows William & Edward as sons of the Richard who was son of Mayor Richard and as uncles of Richard (dsp) and the Geoffrey (Galfridus) who married Agnes Conyers. As HoP identifies Geoffrey as "Grandson of a mayor of London" and refers to his elder brother Edward as "later archbishop of York", and as Wikipedia ("Edward Lee (bishop)") confirms that Edward was son of the Richard who was son of Mayor Richard, we follow various web sites in showing only 1 intervening Richard.
