| (1) The following was first uploaded within a Temporary page on 03.09.10. It was amended 16.12.15 and reviewed 10.03.22. It was moved here to facilitate comparison with the section above. (2) Visitation (Cheshire) provides the following. Except for the replacement of 'Hubeck' by 'Hubert' and the differences shown in italics, it is repeated in Visitation (Leicestershire, 1619, 'Hubert') which is supported by 'History Antiquities of the County of Leicester' (John NichoÏs, vol 2, part 1, 1795, 'VIII. Pedigree of Hubert (or Hawberk) of Stapleford', p353). The Calveley source used 'Hubeck' as the family name whilst the Sherard sources are somewhat inconsistent albeit favouring 'Hawberk'. |
