Thomas Brailsford of Tupton (a 1529)
m. Ann
1. George Brailsford (dsp) mentioned on FMG (p1249) but not on FMG (p1246)
2. Thomas Brailsford (a 1544)
By use of dotted rather than sold lines, FMG (p1249) shows Thomas as possible rather than definite father of Humphry of Staveley, Thomas of Southwell & Jerome of London. FMG (p1246) shows the line as solid.
  A. Humphry or Henry Brailsford of Staveley (a 1599, d unm) named Henry of Staveley on FMG (p1246) but Humphry of Staveley on FMG (p1249)
Humphry/Henry is shown by both p1246 + p1249 as having "never mar.". Nevertheless, we speculate that he was ancestor of the undermentioned Thomas (perhaps through an illegitimate child) who is the first mentioned by FMG (vol 4, MS586, 'Brailsford', p1247) which provides the following.

The following attempts to pull the data together but, given that FMG does not do so, this must be viewed as speculative. Possibly grandfather of both Thomas and Jacob & his siblings was ...
