He also provided some additonal details on William's children and advised us that, although Commoners identified William's wife as Jane, dau of John Castell of Ashbury, this "is an error in an early lineage which is too frequently copied" and that his wife was in fact Jane Salmon. That is confirmed by Crisp who starts with this William.
