(2) Foster provides a note that suggests 2 alternative parentages for the following Henry (or Alexander), but giving precedence to Henry: (a) as Henry, son of John by Agnes, dau of John Dawney; (b) as Alexander, son of Thomas of Bawne & brother of Thomas of Hatfield. Foster provides additional notes that confuse the position even further (!) but which are ignored below which follows the tree which Foster gives precedence to. |
