Visitation (1665) shows Walter, John & Francis with the wife of Francis as Ann Tanfield (added in italics) with Francis & Ann being parents of Thomas father (by Margaret Meverell) of Thomas (m. Anne Taileur) & Letitia. There is confusion as to the generation of the Francis who m. Anna Tanfield.
