Families covered: Wright of Mobberley, Wright of Nantwich, Wright of Offerton
Visitation starts with the following Thomas, identifying him as "Thomas Wright alias Bulkeley de wiche malbancke". Ormerod, next to his pedigree on the following family, mentions that Lord Mayor Sir Edmund (shown below in the lower section) used the arms of Bulkeley, which use was disallowed in the Visitation of 1663-4, but that Bulkeley was a corruption of Bickley. Ralph or Randall Wright - continued above
BHO starts with Randall "of Twerlingate N(antwich?)", showing his wife as Margaret Edwards of Nantwich, but does not identify his parentage. Ormerod reports that the undermentioned Sir Edmund was descended from the above family but does not identify Ralph as his father. Ormerod identifies Ralph's wife as Ellen, dau of Ralph Bagnald. Visitation identifies her as Ellen, dau of Raph Bagenhall. MGH starts with Randall of Wickmalbank, who m1. _ Bagnal, m2. Margaret Edwards of Wickmalbank, showing Margaret as mother of Sir Edmund. This suggests that Ralph & Randall were the same person.
